As a Planner with NPG Planning Solutions, Robert plays a pivotal role in the success of NPG’s projects as he collaborates closely with clients and consultants while managing diverse development applications from start to finish, and while guiding NPG’s clients through the development process. His friendly personality and enthusiasm provide a welcome boost to NPG’s caring team environment.
Currently, Robert is completing a master’s degree in Rural Planning and Development at the University of Guelph.
This unique program focuses specifically on rural, Indigenous, and remote communities, making it the only one of its kind in Canada. Through this academic pursuit, Robert has acquired critical knowledge and skills in planning theory, planning law, plan formation, implementation, project management, and evaluation.
Robert also has earned a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Architecture – Project and Facility Management. This academic foundation, combined with his past professional experience in the field of architecture, has provided him with a valuable understanding of the built environment allowing him to make well-informed decisions on a community’s layout, functionality and design.
In his spare time, Robert can be found going for a run in his neighbourhood, playing (and watching) sports, enjoying his woodworking hobby, and generally keeping active and enjoying the outdoors.
