Bookkeeper
As Bookkeeper for the NPG team, Rachel keeps track of the day-to-day financial work. She works closely with the Business Manager and Senior Management to keep the finances running smoothly.
Rachel brings over 20 years of banking and accounting experience, having started in the banking industry as a teen while upgrading her skills to work in the accounting field. Her professional experience includes working for various organizations ranging from non-profits to large-scale corporations, and her most recent experience before joining NPG included handling the books for an upscale retail location.
Rachel’s educational background includes attending Seneca College of Applied Arts for Business Administration with an Accounting specialization and she also holds an Honor’s Diploma for Business Administration and Small Micro-Processing from the Toronto School of Business. In recent years, Rachel has taken refresher courses with Niagara College to update her accounting skills on various computer programs and to keep things interesting, has taken some elective courses to continue broadening her horizons.
Rachel has always had an appreciation for numbers and balancing the scales. In her spare time, she likes to solve complex puzzles, go for long walks, dance, listen to music, attend live theatre, and she particularly loves to get lost in a captivating book.
