As a Planner with NPG Solutions, Jeremy Tran currently serves as one of the leads for the firm’s urban design practice, where he aligns the business merits of development proposals with municipalities’ planning objectives. 

Jeremy has a particular passion for urban design and sees it as an essential part in creating community identity. He draws inspiration from his global and diverse background, having lived and worked in Vietnam, Singapore, and Calgary prior to his role

at NPG. Jeremy brings a strong design and form-based approach to the planning issues that our clients face and has earned a well-deserved reputation for his ingenuity and ability to find creative solutions for even the most challenging design problems.

Prior to joining NPG Solutions, Jeremy acquired a broad scope of professional experience through roles as a Land & Planning Assistant Manager at SP Group, and as a Condominium Manager at Ace Body Corporate Management. Jeremy has a deep understanding of the fundamentals of real estate development, having worked on projects requiring rezoning applications, development permits and land appraisals.

Jeremy holds a Master of Planning specializing in community and regional planning from the University of Calgary, where he focused his studies on affordable housing and community planning. Previously, he studied at the National University of Singapore and completed a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate. Jeremy is actively working towards becoming a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) and aspires to continue to grow the urban design offerings of NPG.

John Henricks is the President and founder of NPG Solutions. He established NPG in 2017 with the goal of addressing a need in the market for a strong urban planning consulting. John brings a wealth of experience in municipal and land use planning, as well as land development. He has held management positions in the public and private sector of Ontario and Alberta. John is relentless in his commitment to make all of our clients successful.

As president of NPG Solutions, John leads through the empowerment of his staff and believes that his primary role is to facilitate the success for his stakeholders, both internally and externally. He priorities customer service and always keeps a clear focus on how to best sustain our communities and make them a better place for people to live and work. Clients and stakeholders of NPG Solutions appreciate John’s positive energy, personal approach and infectious enthusiasm.

As an integral part of community building and place making, urban design’s best practices are incorporated in every design and planning solution NPG provides through a collaborative process across all NPG activities. This allows us to provide holistic solutions to even the most complex and multifaceted problems that our clients face.
