Planner

Edan began his journey at NPG as a student planner after having graduated from the University of Calgary’s Urban Studies program, where he also earned an Embedded Certification in Sustainability Studies. The program shaped his expertise in research, and he implements a holistic approach to understanding planning matters.

As a student planner at NPG, Edan was integral to the success of several projects by completing preliminary research, conducting site

visits, and drafting planning reports. Edan has been quick to adapt to his role, and he often liaises with various project partners to facilitate project submissions. Uniquely, Edan has lived in five provinces and utilizes regional knowledge in practice, making him a valuable member of NPG Solutions. As he continues to grow in his professional career, he hopes to complete a master’s in planning with a focus on transportation, complete communities, and social equity in accessing housing.

Edan’s an explorer at heart and loves to experience cities and towns firsthand. In his spare time, Edan can be found visiting Ontario’s many diverse communities, sampling fares from local vendors, engaging in civic events, and meeting new people.
